Sport Ed Incursion

Over the past two weeks the Year 8 Sport Education class have been involved in an incursion with AFL Victoria run by Mark Volich to complete their AFL Umpires certificate.

A benefit of having the students engaged within this course are opportunities for them to be umpires in our AFL NAB Auskick Program umpiring Grid Games at half time as a component of our NAB Auskick Program.

This will occur on Friday Aug 2nd North Melbourne vs Hawthorn Marvel Stadium and Saturday August 23rd Richmond vs Brisbane Lions at the MCG.

Students also have the opportunity to earn money on the weekends refereeing Junior games in their local community.
